Anatomy of love

They looked at him confused, confounded and with prying eyes,

Wondering what he did disrupting their processes' demise;

" I don't get enough food", groaned stomach,

Hair complained "I have become the lazy slummock";

Mouth babbled that it was always dry,

Eyes winked that they don't know when to shine and when to cry;

Nerves jangled that they were tensed,

Old memories rushed in saying they were flensed;

Amongst all this hue and cry sat the centre of attention,

Innocent heart looked could feel around him the tension;

Now he spoke with the beat of a drum,

Why am I being blamed for what all on us has come;

Let's ask Mr Brain as he is the main schemer,

He controls us all with his little streamers;

The brain smiled as he saw all the commotion from the top,

I will answer you all until your complaints plop;

We all are going through a maelstrom of emotion,

But aren't we all smitten with this magical potion!;

The rhythm it brought to us is lifting us up,

We have all shed layers and are now grupp;

I see people blinded by the twinkle in our eyes,

While the strength and energy causes our adversaries cries;

They all smiled slyly and knew all along,

As it has been forever, love can do no wrong.

Smile

What if the sun didn't rise from east,

Or God was found to be beast .
What if earth was not found to be round,
Or prayers were nothing but mere sound.
What if gravity didn't just hold us here,
Or glue stopped holding the pair.
What if red stopped being the color of blood,
Or sorrows abstained from causing eyes flood.
What if moon wasn't the one which shone so bright,
Or the beliefs weren't just about being right.
What if everyone was born as an adult and not kid,
Or watching the waves wasn't the thing most splendid.
I wouldn't care much if all that happens,
Because I see in front of which all this dampens.
It's something which lightens up all in a while,
It's everything to me and love it's your smile.

Honeybee

I flutter, I mutter, I dance in the wind,

I sputter, I discover, and I am disciplined;

Cometh the spring, cometh the flowers,

All hail, here I come to devour;

So many colours, so many smells,

I bumble, I swing, I am under spells;

My work is sacred, my work is assidious,

I do it for world, and sap on residuous;

Cometh the winter, I bid adieu to colours,

I hunker, I shudder with the dark wintry clouds;

Now I wait for the warm rays of April sun to guide this humble filigree,

To conquer, to love, and be honeybee.

Half Scribbled

Rolled another paper and threw it away

Words never lost him this way

Poems, stories, couples strewn around

Perfection was the only way he knew now

There she sat with the calm of the world centered elegantly

Shining across the room with lips parting smilingly

He could hear but not listen the words

They had failed him at that moment as well

He tried to dabble around conversation

The awe, the glory, the depth overwhelmed with temptation

Not for him he thought was this forbidden fruit

Only had to be handled this gushing feeling so brute

The memories so vivid, so real yet so fleeting

Like the raindrop hanging off the leaves, like the fireflies' dance at dawn ceasing

The distance has increased while longing strengthened

Yet the page remains crumbled, dry and half scribbled
